FURUTORI is a twin vocal 2-pc band that embraces the limitations of having only two members by using it as motivation to be more creative, versatile and willing to experiment. Clever wordplay and lyric structure is used to craft songs with imaginative themes. Maki uses a loop pedal to sample guitar riffs over each other and liberate her hands to play keyboard. Aisha also has a keyboard by her drum kit and shares vocal duties with Maki almost equally. They pivot between numerous musical styles from emotional ballads to pop-punk, post-rock, hip hop and math rock. FURUTORI with their confident stage presence and love of crowd interaction is sure to connect with Canadian audiences.
